It was a group of three, I was the motion designer. Our idea was to focus on the phases of the moon. A circle that has a never-ending journey, just like the experience of learning Te Reo Maori. Space is gently lit according to the phase of the moon at that point of the journey, and have a nighttime soundscape playing in the background to create an intensely immersive experience. This is suitable for kids under eight that are creative and visual learners. Having a room like this for them will make them curious and want to try it out themselves. This will help them expand their imagination which will help in later life. Kids under eight want it to be hands-on, make them feel magical when something happens when they touch the wall. It needs to be engaging, easy to understand to interact with by touching, swiping and drawing. This interactive room is a place for them to learn something they haven't seen before. It is like an activity for them to figure out what will happen next and see the outcome.
